The experts at YourHolidayClaims have received a shocking report of an illness outbreak at Skanes Family Resort, Tunisia, affecting a large family party of 14 holidaymakers, including a baby only a few months old.

The holidaymakers claim that the entire party fell ill with sickness and diarrhoea just days into their two-week stay in May 2014, completely ruining their holiday.

They claim to have witnessed several alarming hygiene breaches at the hotel including overflowing toilets; stagnant water, rotten tables and dirty cutlery.

Despite wiping down tablecloths and highchairs with their own anti-bacterial wipes, a young baby in the party became unwell and required treatment by doctors in the UK once home.

A number of the stricken group also report to have continued to suffer from symptoms after the end of their two-week stay.

YourHolidayClaims first reported on the appalling conditions at the hotel in June 2014 after a family of three contracted E. coli at the hotel and required doctor-led care.
