Yet more holidaymakers have contacted YourHolidayClaims with reports of illness plaguing their stays at Holiday Village Tenerife.

The Holiday Village Tenerife first came to our attention in the summer of 2015. At that time the hotel made national news as large numbers of holidaymakers suffered in a cryptosporidium outbreak with some receiving hospital care owing to the severity of their symptoms.

Recent reports on TripAdvisor suggest that lessons have not been learnt as guests are once again reporting poor hygiene standards at the four-star complex.

A June 2016 holidaymaker from Bridgend posted:

“There was a terrible smell of stale stagnant water coming from the activity pool and also from the drinks area at the quiet pool”.

Another recently disappointed holidaymaker also commented:

“The food is very poor…it’s the same nearly everyday”.
