Holidaymakers criticise the standards of the BelleVue Club

Stays at the Majorcan resort have reportedly been ruined for numerous families, as an outbreak of illness is thought to be sweeping rapidly through the hotel.

Recent holidaymakers have voiced their concerns on the hygiene standards at the hotel on review website TripAdvisor and criticised the resort for providing the “worst holiday ever”.

One holidaymaker branded the hotel restaurant a “health hazard” and warned: “Food hygiene is non-existent. Flies on the food in the snack bar. Everything was cold”.

Another unfortunate holidaymaker commented:

“The food itself was awful; it was cold, inedible and indescribable…I was then struck down with food poisoning. Looking back it does not surprise me!”
