Guests who have recently returned from the Savita Resort and Spa have complained of falling ill whilst on holiday.
The reports on TripAdvisor comment on the hygiene of the hotel with one saying it was the most âdirty and un-hygienic resort I have ever been to.â
Holidaymakers have complained about the swimming pool at the resort saying âit was never cleanâ and âthe water was not chlorinated.â
Complaints have also been made with regard to the toilets. Guests have said âthe toilets were disgusting and were never clean.â
Remarks have also been made regarding the food and drink at the resort. Visitors to the hotel have said that âwaiters rinsed, not washed the plastic cups and didnt dry them.â
Holidaymakers have said how they âstuck to bottled water and fizzy drinks with no iceâ and still fell ill.
Food has been described as âdisgustingâ and âawful.â Guests at the hotel have stated that the âfood was lukewarm, the bread was stale, the chicken was regularly pink.â
The reviews show that many holidaymakers have fallen ill with symptoms of sickness, stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Some guests symptoms have been so severe they required drips and injections. Others have visited the local pharmacy for an antibiotic.
One family who fell ill at the hotel said âthe resort could do with shutting down for a while and a complete revamp comes to mind and new chefs.â
