More Majorcan holidays plagued by illness at Club Mac Alcudia
The Club Mac Alcudia is promoted by the tour operator Thomas Cook and open to holiday makers throughout the months of May-October. Throughout the summer of 2014, our holiday claims experts were instructed by numerous holidaymakers who were struck by sickness at the hotel.
More recently, visitors to the hotel have commented on the review website TripAdvisor after they were affected by symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea.
One guest claimed, âThere was no way I was feeding some of the food on offer to a dog, let alone my familyâ. She added, âMy daughter took a bite out of her burger and I realised it hadnt been cooked properly. That evening, she woke up through the night being sick all over our room.â
Another holidaymaker claimed she was affected by sickness during her stay: âBy day four, I became ill with sickness and diarrhoea. I struggled to eat afterwards and symptoms still persisted â they lasted for five weeks overall.â

Another guest reported âfood poisoningâ at the Club Mac Alcudia. âOn the second to last day, my husband got food poisoning, he had to have an injection and tests and was told we might not be able to fly homeâ.
