A family report to have experienced severe diarrhoea and vomiting at the beleaguered resort and claim that many of their fellow guests were suffering from similar symptoms.
The stricken guests describe witnessing appalling scenes of children vomiting and defecating in the hotel swimming pool during their May 2016 stay.
Review site, TripAdvisor is awash with reports of illness and âfood poisoningâ at the Club Mac Alcudia.
In a recent report, one guest claims that their entire holiday party, including his pregnant partner, fell ill at the resort.
âIt was on the 4th day of our holiday we all started to become ill; firstly, my pregnant partner, then myself and the kids ⦠as we were all bed bound at different times and couldnt enjoy the holiday as a family.
â[My partner] was in a real bad way.
âShe was given an injection and medication and we were told the treatment was on the hotel as it was food poisoningâ.
In a shocking statement, the holidaymaker claimed that his family was still unwell on their return to the UK and were unable to return to work or school.
âSince landing home Monday Im still off work and the kids are off school; all of us taking it in turns to use the bathroomâ.
