British holidaymakers returning from their April 2016 holiday at the SuneoClub Costa Caleta have contacted the experts at Your Holiday Claims with a shocking report of a suspected illness outbreak at the all-inclusive hotel.
Just days into their 7-night stay, one member of their party was stricken with severe diarrhoea, agonising stomach cramps and an intense feeling of nausea that lasted for the majority of their holiday.
They reported that a doctor was called to treat the affected member at the hotel with a mixture of injections and rehydration salts.
The holidaymakers alleged that many more were suffering from similar symptoms at the time of their stay.
Online commentaries are rife with reports of dire hygiene practices. Writing on TripAdvisor one guest commented:
“Please don’t go to this hotel.
“The food was cold … the scrambled egg undercooked … we ended up going out for all our meals”.
