Cryptosporidium at Marelen Hotel and Apartments

Contaminated swimming pool water has been highlighted as a possible source of infection at Marelen Hotel and Apartments, Zante, as close to 100 holidaymakers claim to have suffered from the symptoms of gastric illness during their stays at the Thomas Cook promoted resort according to an article in Â The Mirror newspaper.

A number of those affected report that they have tested positive for the parasite cryptosporidium.
