Your Holiday Claims have helped recover £4,058 in holiday compensation for a family of 3 following their first family holiday which was ruined by sickness at Club Mac Alcudia.

Gareth Harries, and his wife Katie, looked forward to their first holiday with 9 month old daughter Freya at Club Mac Alcudia in June 2014 when they were struck down with severe a sickness bug. The young family, from Pembrokeshire, suffered several days of “sickness, diarrhoea and vomiting”, ruining the enjoyment of their treasured first holiday as a family.

Mr and Mrs Harries contacted the Your Holiday Claims team in June 2014 after complaining to their travel agent Thomas Cook and told Your Holiday Claims expert travel law solicitor, Sue Robinson, of their horrific stay at the resort:

“Grimey bathrooms, luke warm food, no sign of the pool being cleaned” recalled Mrs Harries on their 2 week stay at the Spanish resort.

Large scale outbreaks of illness continued throughout summer 2014 at Club Mac Alcudia and the team at Your Holiday Claims received reports from several British guests whose holidays were also ruined by suspected food poisoning at the resort.
