Online reports reveal the Brisas Guardalavaca Hotels illness issues

It has come to the attention of the YHC team that numerous former guests of the Brisas Guardalavaca Hotel have unfortunately had their visits ruined by illness and poor hotel hygiene.
In a number of recent posts on website TripAdvisor, holidaymakers have disclosed details on how their visits to the Thomas Cook promoted resort were ultimately ruined by the illnesses which they contracted.
In a review titled âbeautiful beaches, below par hotelâ, one previous visitor of the resort revealed:
âThe food in the evening is terrible, undercooked and not very warm also the hygiene is very bad and loads of people were getting ill with sickness and diarrhoea.
âIts a shame what was supposed to be a dream holiday was ruined through my wife getting ill like a lot of other people!
âLittle tip take some hand sanitiser with you!â
In addition to this, another disappointed holidaymaker posted:
âThe food in the buffet area was always the same and always lukewarm and never cooked properly. There were flies everywhere we were forever shooing them off.
âWe ate in the Italian restaurant I had steak [and] I had food poisoning the day after, so did my friend and his little girlâ¦we were the only ones to have steak.
âAfter that everything was hit and miss with the food it was either the food or their water but I would be ok one day then have the [diarrhoea] again the day after. I had to self-medicate, as did a lot of other peopleâ.
