A number of British holidaymakers have reported being affected by stomach bugs on holiday at the Hilton Sharm Dreams in Egypt.

Visitors to the hotel have commented on TripAdvisor after experiencing symptoms including sickness, stomach cramps, and diarrhoea at the all-inclusive hotel.

One holidaymaker stated that their holiday was ruined by “food poisoning”. Despite receiving “medicine and injections” from a doctor, they were forced to postpone their flight home due to the severity of their illness.

Many have criticised the standards of food hygiene at the Hilton Sharm Dreams, describing food served as “literally inedible” and “recycled”.

One recent guest commented, “After six days my husband fell very ill with a stomach bug”. They added that this resulted in “spending six days in the room” and “seeing the local doctor three times”.
