One holidaymaker stated that their holiday was ruined by âfood poisoningâ. Despite receiving âmedicine and injectionsâ from a doctor, they were forced to postpone their flight home due to the severity of their illness.
Many have criticised the standards of food hygiene at the Hilton Sharm Dreams, describing food served as âliterally inedibleâ and ârecycledâ.
One recent guest commented, âAfter six days my husband fell very ill with a stomach bugâ. They added that this resulted in âspending six days in the roomâ and âseeing the local doctor three timesâ.
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, commented on the reports: âIt does appear that a number of holidaymakers have been affected by stomach bugs on holiday at the Hilton Sharm Dreams.â
âThis can be a distressing experience especially when medical treatment is required and it can very easily ruin a holiday. It is vital that the tour operators and hotel management ensure that high standards of food safety and hygiene are implemented and maintained in order to help prevent such outbreaks of illness.â
