On TripAdvisor the lady also commented: “The room I shared with my sister was disgusting. I found black hairs in my bed and we are both blonde.
“Everything just felt so dirty and vile in there.
“The evenings were boring, there was nowhere nice and relaxing to sit and enjoy a drink.
“I wouldn’t return to this place if it was free!
“The food wasn’t nice and we both stuck to chips because my sister became very ill.
“The staff are terribly rude and the swimming pools are dirty with rubbish floating about at the time, I wanted to leave the whole time!”
Complaining about the ignorance and behaviour of the hotel management staff towards the British, a holidaymaker from Carlisle also warned others “if you like being pushed about by very rude people this is the hotel for you!”

“I hope the tour operators that sell package holidays to the Sonesta Beach Resort and Casino hotel act appropriately and resolve matters as soon as possible to prevent other holidaymakers from becoming ill and having their holidays ruined.
