Sol Cayo Guillermo “wants shutting down”

Holidaymakers returning from the Sol Cayo Guillermo in Cuba have condemned the hotel, stating “never again!”

Thomas Cook promotes the Sol Cayo Guillermo as a three star, all inclusive “hotel-based holiday”. “The Sol Cayo Guillermo is set directly on the beach, offering a true Caribbean feel” as featured.

TripAdvisor has recently been bombarded by several holiday makers who claim to have suffered sickness during their New Year stay at the Sol Cayo Guillermo.

One guest referred to their stay as “the holiday from hell”.

“The moment we arrived at our hotel, I knew the holiday was going to be a disaster – the bed sheets were filthy” he said. “Eight of us in our family suffered sickness during our stay and couldnt stay off the toilet. It was made worse by reception who wouldnt supply toilet roll without prior consent”.

“The hotel wants shutting down” he said. “I strongly advise thinking about changing your holiday if you have already booked to stay here”.

Another guest has criticised the food on offer at Sol Cayo Guillermo claiming “the joint of meat on offer was inedible”. “The pork was not cooked, at one point we mistook it for beef as it was so rare.”

One holiday maker concluded “If this hotel was the only hotel in the world, we would never come here again”.
