Egypt’s Sonesta Beach Resort comes under fire from frustrated holidaymakers

It’s come to the attention of the travel law team at YourHolidayClaims that there are current illness issues at Egypt’s Sonesta Beach Resort, after a couple of holidaymakers contacted our team seeking legal advice.

The unfortunate couple told our travel law team that they were “room bound for virtually most of their holiday” with symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea.

Stays at the resort have reportedly been ruined for numerous other holidaymakers, many of which have taken to TripAdvisor to air their views.

One guest commented:

The food was minimalistic and repetitive and porridge was cold in the mornings. There were many flies around the open food dishes and we did suffer sickness [for] a few days.

“We were awoken most mornings between 4am and 5am for the spraying of Mosquitos using very noisy equipment which is not good for sleeping.
