One concerned dad said: “A few days into the holiday my eldest son became terribly sick with vomiting and diarrhoea. Then one by one my other children became sick also.

“Our youngest son was particularly bad and was dehydrating so the hotel manager organised a doctor to come onto the complex. He quickly diagnosed gastroenteritis and gave us a prescriptions which we had to pay for.”

Another holidaymaker from Carlisle reported her, “family of 5 returned 6 days ago and have been very sick since”.

Others have dubbed their stay as the “holiday from hell” after suffering “the worst bug ever”.
