Sickness reported at Iberostar Diar El Andalous, Port El Kantaoui

Holidaymakers have reported outbreaks of sickness at the Iberostar Diar El Andalous in Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia.

Visitors who became ill whilst on holiday have commented on the review site TripAdvisor.

Thomas Cook promote Dial El Andalous for its “fantastic location on the beach…the ultimate in relaxing holidays”.

However not everyone was happy. A disgruntled guest reported requiring antibiotics after falling ill. He stated, “By the fifth day of my holiday I was fortunate enough to be prescribed antibiotics, by day nine I was starting to feel better”. He went on to say, “On three separate occasions, I was served raw chicken – I believe this to be the reason I was violently ill”.

Another holidaymaker commented on the sickness saying: “On the second night, my partner and I became very unwell with sickness and diarrhoea – symptoms persisted throughout our entire two week stay. It’s not surprising when we witnessed the chef in the restaurant cough into his hands and proceed to handle pizza”.
