Sickness outbreaks continue at the Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort

Here at Your Holiday Claims we have been contacted by a holidaymaker whose stay at the Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort in Egypt was ruined by sickness and diarrhoea.

We have previously spoken to visitors to the Thomson promoted hotel who were affected by similar symptoms in March and January 2015.

More recently, guests have commented on the review site TripAdvisor after experiencing symptoms of suspected “food poisoning” during their stays.

One holidaymaker commented: “My wife received food poisoning requiring the doctor to be called out and was put on a drip for 2 days.

“Children were continually picking up food and putting it back on display in front of restaurant managers. We had wine poured into our glasses from a glass of someone else then the manager said this was done because the glass was broken.”

Guests have reported being served “pink looking chicken” whilst others complained of “poor food, poor service, poor cleanliness” before adding, “Just a waste of money.”
