“Violent” sickness bug causing misery at Marconfort Beach Club Hotel
Online reports from frustrated holidaymakers convey an array of problems regarding the hygiene standards at the Marconfort Beach Club Hotel.
Numerous British holidaymakers have taken to the website TripAdvisor, to warn others about the apparent widespread illness which is devastating guests at the resort.
A recent holidaymaker revealed how an alarming portion of their group suffered from gastric illness during their stay.
“My review of this hotel would have been excellent but for the fact that out of a party of 14, including 2 children, 12 of us have been hit by the vomiting and diarrhoea bug.”
They continued: “We sanitised our hands, were careful what we ate, to no avail. This bug is extremely violent and very distressing. 3 of our party vomited on the plane home, as you can imagine very distressing.”
Recalling the havoc that the illness was causing in the hotel, this poster disclosed some quite unnervingly graphic information.
“We weren’t the only ones, we witnessed sinks full of sick on 2 occasions, heard people vomiting in toilet cubicles, and saw several people running to the toilets gagging.”
Furthermore, another holidaymaker observed “a problem with the pools” and reported: “Lots of work men tipping chemicals in while we were swimming, shutting the water falls on and off and taking lots of samples.
