Guests reveal how sickness is sweeping through the H10 Rubicon Palace
- Family holidays ruined by âvery bad sicknessâ
- Gastric illness âbugâ forces holidaymakers to stay in bed for multiple days
- Several concerns raised over lack of food hygiene at the resort
The YourHolidayClaims team are currently investigating reports which were found on the website TripAdvisor, that suggest an illness outbreak has occurred at the H10 Rubicon Palace.
A number of holidaymakers have had their visits ruined just days after arriving at the Spanish resort because of illness, and many feel that poor food hygiene practices are at fault.
One frustrated recent guest claimed:
âFood was not kept hot in the buffet restaurant and I witnessed on several occasions new food being brought out to the hot plates and the cold, old food being placed on top of the hot food that had just been brought out.
âThis concerned me as my wife became sick two days into our holiday and was in bed for three days out of the week being sickâ.
Furthermore, another holidaymaker added:
âMy little one of 15 months was ill whilst staying here which we have put down to the food; very bad sickness after eating in the American. Over half of our party returned with stomach bugsâ.
