Holidaymakers warn of sickness bug at Marconfort Beach Club Hotel

- The second time THIS YEAR that we’ve been made aware of illness issues at the Marconfort Beach Club Hotel.
YHC are currently in contact with a British holidaymaker who has fallen victim to an illness, which worryingly required him to have medical treatment whilst staying at the 4-star Marconfort Beach Club Hotel.
Unfortunately, it’s become clear that this holidaymaker isn’t the only one to have been affected by illness during their visit to the Spanish hotel in recent weeks. This comes as while investigating reports on the website TripAdvisor, it emerged that another dismayed guest commented:
“Our party consisted of 25 people, we arrived on Thursday 6th April in the evening. The hotel looked nice and clean but by the third night, about 19 of us [both] adults and children (youngest was 8) [were] violently sick (vomiting, nausea and diarrhoea).
“[For] some of us [the illness] lasted just over 24 hours but [for] others [it] lasted 3-4 days. Our family and friends holiday was ruined. We reported this to the hotel and wanted to speak to the manager as one of the boys had to have an injection which cost his parent €90.
“You can see people around the hotel, especially young children, were violently sick and previous travellers have mentioned this on their reviews”.
