Sickness at Hotel Esra Family Suites leaves holidaymakers “desperate to go home”

Here at Your Holiday Claims we have been received an enquiry after a family holiday in Turkey was ruined by an accident and sickness and diarrhoea outbreaks.

During their stay at the Hotel Esra Family Suites in Bodrum, 4 members of the family were struck by symptoms of illness. According to reports on TripAdvisor, the outbreak has affected large numbers of guests at the hotel.

One holidaymaker commented: “Believe me, a visit to the Hotel Esra will require a supplementary trip to the chemist.

“My whole family and all the fellow guests I spoke to suffered all or some of the following; ear infection, sore throat, nasty cough, mysterious itchy rash, vomiting and diarrhoea.”

They added that the “pool area was lethal” after hearing “the sickening thud of children and adults smashing their head on the tiled floor.”

One concerned mother reported that most of her family was affected by sickness and diarrhoea with one son spending “an afternoon on a drip”.

She added: “Our last night resulted in my little girl being up all night being sick. While waiting for airport transfers, my eldest son began with sickness and diarrhoea. He was sick on the bus and at the airport.

“I was desperate to get him home and worried Id be told he wasnt fit to fly! Im fed up now after spending all our time holding a bag for my son to be sick in.”
