Holidaymakers reveal suspected gastroenteritis outbreak at Holiday Village Turkey
- Claims emerge that gastroenteritis illness has been confirmed at the resort

Holidaymakers are returning home not best pleased following their visit to the 4-star resort, after illness outbreaks are reported to be halting a number of holidays at Holiday Village Turkey.
When further investigating the reports of an illness outbreak at Holiday Village Turkey, YourHolidayClaims experts worryingly found additional holidaymakers on the website TripAdvisor who also had fallen ill at the resort.
One guest who stayed in October 2016 claimed his family became âvery ill with diarrhoea and vomitingâ during their stay, and were diagnosed with gastroenteritis by the on-site doctor.
He then added:
âMany other families had this illness.
âThe year before we could not fault a thing ⦠but unfortunately this trip we found the food appalling and undercooked. Cleanliness of staff members who were preparing the food very poor and general appearance of the cooking areas [were] shocking.
âOn 2 separate days there was a leak of free running water above the outdoor buffet dinner area covering food with water from god knows where.
â[There were] cats on every table during breakfast time and evening meals with people vomiting after eatingâ.
