“Salmonella” outbreaks ruin holidays at the Majesty Club Tarhan Beach Hotel

Here at Your Holiday Claims we are currently receiving enquiries after a suspected outbreak of salmonella at the Majesty Club Tarhan Beach Hotel in Turkey.

Entire families have been struck by illness with many experiencing symptoms including sickness and diarrhoea.

Recent visitors have commented on TripAdvisor after their stays at the Thomas Cook and Thomson promoted hotel were ruined by illness.

One guest reported witnessing “flies” landing on food and found that “the food was very repetitive and only just warm most of the time”. They added: “By 31st May my eldest son was sick, then 1st June my 6 year old had very severe sickness, stomach cramps and diarrhoea.”

“The following day my 6 year old was limp and dehydrated and ended up on a drip. We came home Monday 8th June all still poorly so went to our doctor who did stool samples and confirmed salmonella.”

“Our holiday was a nightmare, some staff were also ill and at least 5 other families while we were there.”

Others have reported needing “2 weeks to recover” after their doctor confirmed they had been suffering symptoms of “salmonella poisoning”.
