The team at Your Holiday Claims has been reading numerous reports of sickness at Hotel Rio Park in Benidorm, with guests criticising the quality of the food.
Hotel Rio Park is promoted by Thomson and promoted for its “stylish and modern décor along with access to Benidorm’s main strip”.
In recent weeks, holidaymakers have reported outbreaks of sickness at Hotel Rio Park through the review website TripAdvisor.
“The food in one word? Disgusting!” suggested one guest who recently returned from the hotel.
“I suffered severe stomach pain, vomiting and lethargy. Hotel suggested this was due to a winter virus but with the quality of the food, it was debatable” one guest claimed.
Another holidaymaker accused the hotel of serving “raw fish and chicken”. She further claimed, “My husband was ill for five days of our holiday”.
“I wouldn’t return to Rio Park if I was paid to. Food was a disgrace” complained another guest.
