Reports of illness continue to emerge from the “unhygienic” Sahara Beach Resort in Tunisia

Here at Your Holiday Claims we are continuing to receive enquiries from British holidaymakers who have fallen ill whilst on holiday at the Sahara Beach Resort in Tunisia.

We have previously reported on outbreaks of illness and ear infections which resulted in guests describing the Thomas Cook promoted hotel as a “health hazard”.

More recently, a holidaymaker has contacted us after their entire two week family holiday was ruined by illness. This was thought to be a result of the poor standard of food hygiene.

Numerous visitors to the hotel have commented on the review website TripAdvisor, criticising the standards of food hygiene and cleanliness within the Sahara Beach Resort.

One hotel guest described the food as “rotten, lukewarm and pretty unhygienic, think flies dead in your butter”.
