British holidaymakers are continuing to contact YourHolidayClaims reporting to have suffered from illness at the five-star Egyptian resort, The Grand Hotel.

Illness outbreaks at the Red Sea resort have allegedly caused misery for holidaymakers since the summer of 2014.

Afflicted guests have taken to TripAdvisor to express their concerns regarding the “awful” hotel.

One holidaymaker argues that there are many “issues” at the resort after they fell ill with a “stomach bug” during their July 2015 stay. The Worcestershire hotel guest is critical of the food hygiene standards employed and claims that “burgers can be undercooked, some food reheated, eggs under cooked.”

The affected guest reports that the on-site chemist was inundated with tourists as “lots of people needed this facility.”

Food hygiene is highlighted as a cause for concern by several guests with hotel food branded “inedible”.
