“Worst of the worst”: Multiple guests express dissatisfaction towards Iberostar Playa Mita

Additionally the Mexican resort, which is marketed to UK holiday makers by agencies such as Thomson and First Choice, is to blame for a number of illnesses suffered by guests according to reports on TripAdvisor.

One particular report stated that “the food was terrible the whole trip” and “8 out of nine of us got sick from the food”.

Furthermore, another guest also claimed that the food conditions hampered a friends stay as they said, “one of our party had food poisoning which we deducted came from the steak/poolside restaurant”.

Further reports reveal that the Iberostar Playa Mita also carry out “unhygienic food practices”, and that floors throughout the hotel were not cleaned regularly.
