The Club Magic Life is once again under scrutiny from holidaymakers as several guests are believed to have fallen ill at the Egyptian resort.

The Sharm El Sheikh hotel, promoted by First Choice, was subject to several claims of poor hygiene and sickness in August 2015, with one guest diagnosed with “salmonella” following her stay.

Reports from recent holidaymakers indicate that the hygiene issues at the hotel have yet to be resolved and further unfortunate guests are becoming ill.

A holidaymaker from Southampton commented: “My major concern about this hotel is the food hygiene. Without exaggerating this hotels food standards are poor.

“Cross contamination was happening regularly, with 9/10 staff not wearing gloves/hair nets or any other precautionary measures.

“Every one of my party (7 people) ended up with stomach complaints and regular trips to the toilet throughout the holiday.”

Another guest warned: “Looking around the hotel a large majority of people were covered in bites all over there body and were complaining with sickness and diarrhoea.”
