A party of 6 holidaymakers have reported that they all contracted salmonella poisoning whilst staying at Sinbad Aqua Hotel and Spa in Egypt.
The unfortunate party of guests appear to be among many who have become ill at Sinbad Aqua Hotel and Spa in recent weeks, with several guests heading to TripAdvisor to air their complaints.
One member of the party reported on TripAdvisor: âThe whole party (6 of us in total) were all very seriously ill towards the end of the holiday.
âIt has taken us weeks, several trips to the GP at home, and lots of tests to be diagnosed with salmonella food poisoning.
âConsidering we were all inclusive and didnt eat or drink off the complex we can only assume that this was down to poor hygiene practices which we witnessed in all 3 hotel grounds.
Another disgruntled holidaymaker warned that potential guests will need âa strong stomachâ if planning to visit Sinbad Aqua Hotel and Spa.
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced travel law solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âPoor hygiene practices within busy all-inclusive hotels can very quickly lead to widespread illness among guests.
âIt is essential that tour operators take their responsibility for guest welfare extremely seriously and fully investigate any claims made.
âThe team here at Your Holiday Claims is available to speak with any holidaymakers affected to provide expert legal advice on whether they may be able to make a claim.â
