In July 2015, we reported on holidaymakers being ârushed to hospital in an ambulanceâ as guests were hit by a sickness bug.
It now appears that symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea have continued to affect holidaymakers.
In recent weeks, numerous guests have taken to TripAdvisor to express their disappointment in the hygiene standards and the reaction of staff to their illness.
One holidaymaker commented:
âThe main gripe has to be the extremely poor standard of food and hygiene.
âMy wife was laid low with food poisoning for three days and our four year old was also sick.
âHowever dont expect any sympathy at reception who said it was a severe accusation we were making and it could only be verified if we visited the hotel doctor at a cost of 90 euros!â
Others have reported that on informing a receptionist and a First Choice rep they had suffered âvomiting, severe headache and painsâ they were simply told they âcould see a doctor for 90 eurosâ.
