In recent weeks, holidaymakers have taken to hotel review site TripAdvisor after their Spanish holidays were ruined by illness at Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort.

Several guests claim to have contracted âfood poisoningâ at the First Choice promoted resort.

One Liverpool holidaymaker reports losing 5 days of her holiday due to food poisoning. She claims that âthe hotel food which was supposed to be hot never was, it was just warm or turning cold.â

Another guest claims to have been struck by âstomach crampsâ and nausea during their stay after eating âthe veal in sauce.â The disgruntled holidaymaker adds that their partner âhad the runsâ and expresses disbelief that they contracted illness in a four-star hotel.

A Welsh holidaymaker expresses a similar sense of disbelief after her husband woke up with 30 bed bug bites during their stay. Advising others âdont go to this hotel,â the angry guest reports that they were forced to seek medical treatment in the resort for the bites.
