This comes following the discovery of online reports by our travel law team, which suggest outbreaks of sickness have hit numerous guests at the Bulgarian hotel.

Commenting on TripAdvisor, one afflicted holidaymaker revealed:

“I was concerned about the lack of acknowledgement of the illnesses in the hotel. A few of our group had the sickness bug.

“2 of the kids ended up with the rash on hands and feet – went to the hotel doctor and were sent to the hospital. There we were charged the insurance excess of £150.

“There has been lots of reports of hand foot and mouth at the hotel and it most definitely looked like this”.

Furthermore, unfortunately this guest was not alone in having their holiday marred by sickness as another recent Aqua Nevis Clubhotel guest revealed:

“Chris (the rep) was fab and really helpful especially when we were struck down with norovirus (they said bug but trust me the way it went through us it was not a bug!).

“Not surprised though as an English woman actually stuck her finger in the mayo and said mayo – nice before placing it on her plate”.
