Poor food and hygiene claims further victims at Steigenberger Aqua Magic

There appears to be no end to illness complaints at Thomas Cook’s flagship Hurghada hotel, Steigenberger Aqua Magic.

According to recent reports on TripAdvisor, guests who stayed at the resort in February and March of this year have been caught in ongoing outbreaks of sickness and diarrhoea, thought to be caused by poor food hygiene.

“My partner got what looked to be a half-cooked burger,” comments one holidaymaker adding that this resulted in “him having sickness” and a trip to the doctor.

Other recent guests have described the food on offer as “never hot” and to be of a “poor” standard.
