There appears to be no end to illness complaints at Thomas Cook’s flagship Hurghada hotel, Steigenberger Aqua Magic.

We are aware that illness outbreaks are continuing at the after being contacted by a holidaymaker who contracted salmonella during their visit to the 5-star resort.

This comes on top of reports from earlier this year, where guests who also fell ill at the Steigenberger Aqua Magic during their stay described the food on offer as “never hot” and to be of a “poor” standard.

Another guest around who visited this time period was also left disappointed with her visit, as she commented “My partner got what looked to be a half-cooked burger”, before  adding that this resulted in “him having sickness” and needing a trip to the doctor.
