Former guests adamant that poor hygiene is to blame

According to recent reports, it has become evident that poor hotel standards at the RIU Palace Bavaro are responsible for the latest illness outbreaks at the resort.

This comes as a holidaymaker has contacted Your Holiday Claims seeking compensation, after their holiday was hindered by severe symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps.

The resort, which is marketed by U.K tour operator Thomson, has also been under fire from multiple holidaymakers on the website TripAdvisor.

It has been suggested that poor food hygiene has resulted in several guests suffering from “stomach problems”, with one holidaymaker requiring antibiotic treatment on their return home.

Furthermore, one poster reveals how 6 out of their party of 8 “went down with some sort of stomach bug”, caused by what they think was “some form of food contamination”.
