Your Holiday Claims are concerned to still be reading reports on TripAdvisor of illness at the Hilton Sharks Bay. It was only in July that we previously reported that holiday makers were becoming ill at this resort.

Holidaymakers have complained about the standard of food at the resort saying “it was appalling” and was “lukewarm.”

Others have described their holiday as a “massive disappointment” as they were unable to “eat, drink or leave the room” after falling ill.

Guests have said that they are not wholly sure what could have caused their “poorly tummies” as there “were so many possibilities.”

The restaurant was said to be “very dirty and the tables were sticky and not cleaned correctly.”

The splash bar, was described as “absolutely filthy” and the bottled water at the pool bar was “always warm,” visitors have also noted that the plastic ice box was also “absolutely filthy.”

Numerous guests witnessed children being allowed in the pool without nappies, resulting in faeces in the swimming pools, which were closed on “many, many occasions.”
