A British holidaymaker has reached out to industry leaders Your Holiday Claims for compensation advice after illness ruined her family stay at the four-star Sol Calas de Mallorca.
The stricken guests claims that both her and her child suffered severely from confirmed gastric illness.
Recent visitors to the Sol Calas de Mallorca hotel have noted several alarming hygiene practices on review site TripAdvisor.
âIt was not the worst hotel, but it came close,â writes one disgruntled guest from June 2016.
âFor how much me and my sister paid I was not expecting luxury, but I expected to at least have a clean pool and both of us not to be ill from food poisoning.â
Alarmingly, the stricken holidaymaker adds that âa family with 2 young children also were really poorly from the food.â
Reports of âundercookedâ food and even âfrozen chickenâ served to guests can also be found online.
