Sickness still rife at Club Mac Alcudia
Since May 2014, more than 50 holidaymakers have contacted our dedicated holiday claims team to pursue claims for holiday illness at Club Mac Alcudia.
The severity of the outbreak of illness has led to numerous national newspapers covering the story. Many holidaymakers have been hospitalised and required treatment through intravenous drips.
Guests at the Club Mac Alcudia reported suffering symptoms including sickness, stomach cramps, and diarrhoea during their stay.
Visitors to the hotel are continuing to report falling ill after they were served undercooked food. Holidaymakers have commented on the hotel review website TripAdvisor.
One hotel guest who returned to the hotel despite falling ill during their visit in 2012 commented: âMy one-year-old son caught it this time and was really poorly for two days.
âI felt so sorry for the cleaner, she would clean the bed and it would no sooner need doing again. I felt really embarrassed but he is only one and was just being sick everywhere.
âIts such a shame that so many people are sick in the hotel as the facilities are brilliant.â
