More holidays ruined by sickness at the Sahara Beach Resort, Tunisia

Outbreaks of sickness are continuing to ruin holidays at the Sahara Beach Resort in Tunisia.

Recent visitors to the Thomas Cook promoted hotel have contacted Your Holiday Claims after experiencing symptoms including sickness and diarrhoea.

Throughout 2014, we received enquiries from holidaymakers who had experienced similar symptoms, with some guests describing the hotel as a “health hazard”.

More recently, holidaymakers have taken to TripAdvisor to report cases of food poisoning and poor hygiene standards at the hotel.

One guest commented: “Very disappointed, rooms very poor with loads of damp. Dining was disgusting, everything was dirty.”

“All of our party was sick and we moved hotels after 5 days.”

Another visitor stated that both they and their husband were affected by “food poisoning as the food was not very hot and not a great variety.”
