The Your Holiday Claims team has recently been contacted by a British holidaymaker after their stay at five star Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort and Spa in Egypt was ruined by illness.
The luxury resort, which is a part of Thomsons Platinum Lifestyle collection, boasts 696 guest rooms and a private beach in the heart of Egypts Sharm El Sheikh.
However, despite its impressive list of facilities many guests are continuing to report disappointing stays at the resort.
Here at Your Holiday Claims we reported in January, March and July of 2015 on multiple reports of illness that our team had been notified of. Now approaching the winter sun season it appears that the alleged hygiene issues at the resort have yet to be resolved.
A recent guest wrote on TripAdvisor: âThe main restaurant resembled a motorway cafeteria and the food was bland and boring (boiled potatoes, beef and chicken floating in hot water to keep them warm!)â
Another holidaymaker added, â3 days before the end of the holiday I came out in a very bad rashâ, which was later confirmed by doctors to be the bacterial infection âimpetigoâ.
The legal experts at Your Holiday Claims have successfully handled a number of claims against this resort, including those of West Yorkshire couple Mr and Mrs Dawson who received £6,200 in total compensation following a ruined anniversary stay at the resort.
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âI am extremely disappointed to hear of further holidays being ruined by illness at Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort.
âI would hope that the tour operator will be thorough in investigating the current claims to ensure that further holidaymakers are not affected.
âThe team here at Your Holiday Claims is available to speak with any holidaymakers affected by illness at this resort on 0330 100 2851.â
