Food poisoning peril for recent Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa guests?
- Multiple former visitors of the Mexican hotel claim to have been hit by sickness
- âBelow standardâ food targeted by holidaymakers as the main cause for the illnesses
- One affected guest even reveals that they were served a RAW salmon dish during their stay
Following the discovery of a number of online reports, it has become clear to the YHC team that numerous recent visits to the Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa have alarmingly been spoiled by sickness.
Those who have claimed to have been affected have made their thoughts known by posting on the website TripAdvisor, including one January 2018 visitor who revealed:
âEverything started [going] wrong from entering here. This was our 3rd time to “the group” Jamaica and Caribbean the others.
âThe food [was] way below standards. As a chef for 25 years, [Ive] seen some things that were bothersome.
â[On] day 2 my girlfriend got food poisoning from the lunch [bar] up near [the] main pool. So she was down and out [for] 2 days in [our] room.
âMy self [fell ill] from [the] same place on day 5 so I was [also] left in [our] room till we left.
âFinally would I go back [?] No I dont think so, as LOTS of people got Montezumas revenge on our trip as we found out from our bus ride back [with] other guestsâ.
Furthermore, worryingly additional holidaymakers have also commented on the First Choice promoted hotels illness. In a review titled âThe good, bad and uglyâ, another holidaymaker claimed:
âAlso I was extremely ill for 1 1/2 days due to RAW salmon dish that I only had 2 bites out of before I noticed—-make sure you check your meals BEFORE you indulge.
âWould I go back? For the expense of the trip for 2 of us and the above notes… maybeâ.
Our solicitors take
âIt is worrying to learn that holidaymakers have fallen victim to Montezumas Revenge whilst on holiday at this resort, a term that used when holidaymakers are struck by gastric illness whilst on holiday in Mexico.
âThe food hygiene levels at the Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa are nowhere near good enough if the reports which we have seen are true, and I hope that both the hotel management and tour operator see these reports so they can investigate them thoroughly.
âIf you have fallen ill for at least seven days during your hard earned Mexican package holiday, then you do not have to suffer in silence.
âGet in touch with us at YourHolidayClaims today to find out whether or not you are eligible to make a claim for holiday illness compensationâ.
