YourHolidayClaims is concerned to learn that recently returned holidaymakers have reported suffering from a range of illnesses during stays at the Thomson promoted Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal.

Listing their concerns on review site TripAdvisor, hotel guests claim to have contracted sickness, stomach bugs and hand, foot and mouth disease during their ruined Mexican holidays.

One holidaymaker bluntly states that they are âdisgustedâ with food hygiene standards at the resort.

âMy first night I got some sushi off of the buffet â¦ I get back to my room and start feeling sick. I literally threw up at least thirty times over the course of the trip.â

In a particularly worrying report, one recent holidaymaker claims that âMy kids started getting hand, foot, and mouth the 3rd day of our stay and by the end we were passing around a stomach bug as well.â
