Symptoms including sickness and diarrhoea are continuing to ruin holidays at the Steigenberger Aqua Magic in Hurghada, Egypt.
A recent guest has contacted the team at Your Holiday Claims after both they and their partner fell ill on holiday at the Thomas Cook promoted hotel. The illness continued even after their return to the UK.
Just last month we reported on outbreaks of illness at the Steigenberger Aqua Magic with guests paying out large sums of money for medical treatment after falling ill.
According to recent reports on TripAdvisor, illness has continued to affect guests at the hotel.
One recent visitor commented: âOn the 4th day, 2 of us became very ill with our stomachs. What started as diarrhoea then included severe cramps, chest pain, back pain, vomiting and tiredness and 2 days confined to our beds.â
âTo see the doctor cost me 60 euro for the consultation, 30 euro to administer an injection and 20 euro for a follow up consultation. He gave me a prescription to take to the chemist which cost 95 euro for 9 items.â
âIn total, this is well over £160 and you pay this fee on your check-out day. In short, they gave me food poisoning, then charged me for it.â
