Reports are emerging of outbreaks of illness at the Al Nabila Grand Bay Makadi in Hurghada Egypt.
British holidaymakers have commented through the review website TripAdvisor. Many others have reported falling ill at the hotel after they were served lukewarm food.
One hotel guest stated that they were forced to visit an onsite doctor as a result of their illness.
They commented: âMe and my partner did get sick, obviously there is a change in temperature from the UK so it is important to keep hydrated which was quite difficult.â
âWe think that this was caused from the change in temperature and undercooked food. I unfortunately got sick again, luckily there is an onsite doctor who was very helpful.
âTwo weeks after returning I still have the stomach bug. I would recommend eating just rice and very bland food to avoid getting sick.
The holidaymaker added that the quality of food was âpoorâ and  âplates were dirtyâ and âsome food was leftovers from the previous dayâ.
Tracy Stansfield, an experienced holiday claims solicitor at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âI have read numerous reviews reporting poor food and hygiene standards at the Al Nabila Grand Bay Makadi in Egypt.
âBeing ill is no fun at the best of times but being ill whilst on holiday can very easily ruin the whole experienceâ.
âAt Your Holiday Claims, we help holidaymakers obtain compensation for the illness they have suffered, loss of enjoyment of their holiday, and any out of pocket expenses that may have been incurred.â
