Disgruntled holidaymakers address their stay at the Royalton Riviera Cancun as the “worst hotel experience”

It has come to the attention of the holiday illness experts at YourHolidayClaims, that gastric illness has recently been rife at the five-star Royalton Riviera Cancun in Mexico.
A number of frustrated guests to have recently stayed at the First Choice promoted hotel have vented their frustration by posting their thoughts on the website TripAdvisor.
One of these angered holidaymakers who visited the Royalton Riviera Cancun in July 2017 claimed that their stay was the “worst hotel experience”, before revealing:
“In most cases we [were] waiting for a long time for food to be served such as starters & mains to finally receive them cold and sometimes even raw/ uncooked!!
“I personally ended up getting very ill and experienced severe sickness and diarrhoea for 3+ days straight and was not able to leave the room! We hadn’t left the resort during our stay either so it was definitely due to poor food and poor hygiene standards!
“The amount of issues we experienced -repeatedly too was unacceptable, not to mention extremely disappointing and added together, [it] ruined our holiday! “
In addition to this, another recent guest of the Royalton Riviera Cancun also claims to have fallen ill during their stay, possibly as a result of poor food hygiene.
The American holidaymaker commented:
“The buffet offers plenty of choices. However, the occasional observation of tongs on both cooked and raw meat is a concern.
“Half of our group did suffer gastro issues at some point”.
