Industry leaders YourHolidayClaims are aware of recent illness issues at the Thomas Cook promoted SUNRISE Holidays Resort.
Numerous guests who have fallen victim to the reported outbreak have revealed the hotels issues by posting details of their stays on website TripAdvisor.
One of these ill-stricken holidaymakers revealed that both they and their partner had a “holiday from hell” at the SUNRISE Holidays Resort, before adding:
“Me and my boyfriend have just recently returned from this hotel, after spending 4 days of our seven day holiday sick. With being sick and temperature. It didn’t help the fact our hotel room was disgusting.
“It was our first holiday away together, and I’m horrified. It won’t be a holiday that I remember, the food was bland, boring and didn’t look like it was prepared in a clean place.
“Staff were brilliant, and very polite and kind. But they were washing sun beds and chucking the dirty water BACK IN THE POOL!”
On top of this other recent visitors of the Egyptian resort have also aired similar complaints, including a September 2017 guest who revealed:
“Gosh where do I start? We have just returned from this hell hole (that’s a polite saying) of a hotel.
“Disappointed with my visit is an understatement. I am currently at home with a bad stomach still taking the local antibiotics given to me when I left.
“I saw the chef cooking his chicken on the BBQ outside only to then put the cooked chicken back into the container he had taken those raw chickens out of to cook.
“So no wonder we were all ill along with 10 people we knew of … I wonder how many others [that] we didn’t know of [who] were sick”.
