No end for illness woes at the Royalton Punta Cana

A British couple have contacted Your Holiday Claims claiming to have suffered from severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps during their May 2016 stay at the Royalton Punta Cana.

The holidaymakers reported falling ill just days into their 14-night stay and claimed to have been bedbound for a number of days due to the severity of the symptoms.

Incredibly, one member of the holiday party reported that they fell ill twice during their stay.

Recent reports on TripAdvisor suggest that many more holidaymakers have fallen ill at the hotel.

One reviewer reported that their May 2016 stay was ruined by an “intestinal bacterial infection.” They also claimed that they “frequently saw dried vomit in the bathrooms.”

“In fact, there was dried vomit at the top of the stairs that led to our room. It stayed there all week long,” they stated.
