Guests of the Hotel Playa Pesquero display their frustration online following illness outbreaks

Following investigations carried out by the YHC team into illness outbreaks, our team has found reports online of an alleged illness outbreak at Cuba’s Hotel Playa Pesquero.
Many recent guests of the resort have taken to the website TripAdvisor to voice their opinions.
One disgruntled former guest of the resort who travelled in May 2017 with their partner, revealed:
“Enjoyed our stay until I got really sick on the last day and ended [up] at the doctors when we returned and [I was] on medication for a bacterial infection. Can’t tell you how I got sick but I do know that someone else we met also had the same symptoms”.
In addition to this another recent guest also raised issues with regards to the hotels hygiene, before adding that he too succumbed to illness during his stay at the Cuban hotel.
The British holidaymaker disclosed:
I was very sick from eating in the poolside buffet [because of] cross contamination of raw and cooked meats on the BBQ. The buffet food was warm at best and still warm when it was meant to be cold and full of flies and birds pecking at the food so not good at all.
This poster then went on the reveal that he had to receive medical attention because of the severity of his illness, including “pills” and an “injection”.
