British holidaymakers are seeking medical attention following a suspected outbreak of food poisoning sweeping the Sharm Plaza Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
Guests at the 5 star luxury hotel have taken to TripAdvisor in droves to air their complaints about the hotel following family holidays being ruined by illness.
One recent guest commented: âDO NOT GO HERE! Dirty, dirty place. If this was a cruise ship it would have been shut for a deep clean!
âI lost 7lbs in a week here as most food inedible. 2 out of our party of 3 are awaiting doctors appointments for stomach bugs as I write this review.
âUp to you to decide, but even if I was given a free holiday here wild horses wouldnt drag me back.â
Another appalled holidaymaker wrote: âDirty glasses were swilled out with soda water and re-used for the next customer, no wonder at least one person in every party/family had food poisoning.â
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at Your Holiday Claims, commented: âIt is always very worrying to hear reports of poor food and hygiene standards within all-inclusive hotels.
âOutbreaks of illness can spread extremely quickly if hygiene standards are not maintained and I would encourage anyone affected to seek expert legal advice from the team at Your Holiday Claims.â
