The Daily Mail has recently published a story relating to a family of four whose hard earned holiday quickly turned into a ânightmareâ.
The family âwere covered with insect bitesâ after their first nights stay at the five-star Egyptian Resort, Sunwing Makadi Hotel at Makadi Bay, Egypt.
Mr Rae Claydon and his partner Rachel had booked their holiday to the Sunwing Makadi Hotel to celebrate their wedding anniversary and told the Mail Online they were âstruck down by diarrhoea and vomitingâ the day after they arrived. Rachel also claims to have lost over a stone in weight and has been left with scars from the insect bites.
The 49 year old company director, Rae, told the MailOnline: Â âWe had been looking forward to this well-deserved break for over a year and it very quickly turned into a nightmare.
âIt was an awful holiday and the effects of the illness have left us completely shell shocked.â
All four family members are said to have been affected and the family are now taking legal action.
