We have been contacted by a party of 8Â who became ill after staying at the Houda Golf and Beach Club in Skanes, Tunisia.
The party travelled with Thomson but Thomas Cook also promote the hotel.
We are told that all adults in the party became ill and have received a confirmed diagnosis of food poisoning on their return from holiday. The children were not ill but they ate merely chips and bread throughout their stay. The food was described as horrendous.
Although the party travelled in July 2013, it is clear from the recent reports on Trip Advisor that the problems persist. Indeed, this is known as a problematic property with issues going back as far as 2009.
Anne Thomson, Head of Travel Law at YourHolidayClaims, a division of Farnworth Rose solicitors said, âThis property is known to me and I have been aware of holidaymakers who have had similar experiences at the hotel. It is a shame that year after year families are having their holidays spoilt
âI would urge anyone who has been ill during their stay on holiday at this hotel to seek medical attention straight away and contact us to find out how much compensation they may be entitled to.
